The Mark is a horror story submitted to Elegant Literature’s contest for emerging writers. The story explores themes of identity and self-perception, particularly the tension between one’s true self and the image constructed by others.

It was published in Elegant Literature’s issue “Wild Worship” in April 2026, selected from over 250 submissions.

Underneath is a short story inspired by my visit to Arkhangelsk, Russia, in 2019. It explores obsession, identity, and the boundaries between self and other through the eyes of a shapeshifter navigating desire and rejection.

Underneath received an Honorary Mention in Elegant Literature’s September 2025 issue "Snowfall and Silence," selected from over 250 submissions.
